Ekosk began with a simple realisation: in every room, your hand goes to the door handle and then to the light switch. One of those details receives a lot of design attention. The other is often an afterthought.
We set out to change that.
We started treating the light switch as a design object: studying how the hand approaches the wall, how the thumb rests, and how much resistance feels “right” when you press. Millimetre by millimetre, we refined the proportions until the plate felt balanced – calm on the wall, precise under the finger.
Ekosk is the result: a switch system that quietly fits into thoughtful interiors, instead of competing with them.
